You’d be angered to know… that this nearly didn’t make the cut.

I know, I hear you. I'm just as irritated at myself. I think my caboose was just rattled by the idea of more ravens/wings… eyes. You know, the things that crank really hard… I should have seen this as an epic design from the start.

Unlike Ronin, this piece does have very subtle details that turn it from a 7.1 to a 8.9+. As I mentioned, the design elements are not overly unique, however the orientation of the components is done insanely well.

The full moon and crescent moon on the sides are actually a key fine detail. We’ve high-polished these, which really pop in amongst the textures of the wings. Its strange when such a minor detail carries so much weight. But it really does.

The shape of the piece is easily the best feature. It is bizarrely ‘comfortable’, which is a funny thing to say about a piece of metal wrapping your prodder. It sits super flush to the finger and is very unobtrusive. It would be an epic pinky piece, I’ll lend you that info for free.

Although Chani has utilised common design motifs - the concept is strongly unique. To be honest, it seems like an obvious design premise, of which I am just as guilty of never considering.

I don’t want to put words in Chani’s mouth, but my read on it is; a representation of the higher and lower realms of buddhism and their relationship to karma. If I’m off the mark here… who gives a shit. That’s kinda the point. It’s what it would mean to me and my accumulation of experiences.

As Above As Below. Stoked to have you onboard.
