The Split Mandrel w/ Emery Sheet. Used with different levels of emery abrasive from 240 up to 3000grit, predominately for the inner ring band. However, the split mandrel is also used for delicate emerying of finer detailed elements of a design, such as the snakes in the Ouroboros ring or on Skull Pendants.
