Used for; An array of different sized shapes and burs are used throughout the production process. Think of these as drill bits used to shape, manipulate and 'bur out' metal for fixtures and setting.
In our process, we used the ball and bearing burs to prepare a seat for the stone set in pieces such as the Naked Oval ring and the Textured Stone. In several designs a bur will be used to mark and create a fold point for the the metal. A cup-bur will be used to finish the tops of the prongs in The Dual Snake and Dual Skull rings.
