The majority of CHD’s pieces are cast in 925 Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is an alloy of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% base metals. The base metals are added to the silver to help with durability - as pure silver by itself, would be too soft and unwearable.
Why we love Sterling Silver; more than even Gold and Platinum, the initial surface finish with by the highest luster, mirror finish out of any of the metals. What you grow to love about Sterling Silver is its charm over time, as it begins to show its age. The wear tear, a story in each marking, like a old-timers wrinkled face.

Available in Yellow, White and Rose Gold, here’s where we get into the league of traditional signets and the prestige of the wedding bands, family crest rings or the beginning of an heirloom. When the budget allows it, Gold rings provide a longer lasting shine and appearance, more durability and the significance of a true piece of value. Yellow gold for the traditions, White if you prefer that look, especially among other silver rings and Rose for something unique.
Platinum is the cream of the crop when it comes to metals. Very dense and therefore heavy and extremely expensive - also due to the weight. Great durability and if the Silver look is what you are after and don’t mind that extra hit to the wallet, your platinum piece will out live your organs.]]>
